New account sign-ups happen online from the ZNetLive website. The process was simple and straightforward, though not without error. I was interested in ZNetLive’s smallest Linux hosting plan and I wanted to pay monthly, which the main page of the ZNetLive website told me I could do. Upon getting to the payment screen, however, I learned that I had to pay my entire hosting bill at least one year in advance. I attempted to contact ZNetLive by live chat to clear up the matter, but they were unavailable and I never received an answer to my email inquiry. On the plus side, I received a welcome letter from ZNetLive with my account details just seconds after paying, and I was able to get my website online within moments.

Live chat support was spotty. More often than not, live chat was simply unavailable. Trouble tickets and emails were usually handled in under an hour, though there were a few instances where my non-emergency tickets took seven hours or longer to be answered.
