Pricing
Webhost4life offers unlimited hosting plans for $6.95 a month. The price is about average in the unlimited hosting industry. I’d happily give Webhost4life a much higher score here if it weren’t for the fact that you must pay for plans one to two years in advance.
Uptime
I keep track of my domains and websites by using a premium uptime monitor. That monitor showed that Webhost4life’s network was hit or miss. I had months without any issues and then months where my uptime was less than 60%.
Sales
Webhost4life’s website wasn’t clear on whether or not they offered an uptime or money back guarantee, so I reached out to them to find out. Sales support is available by live chat or telephone. I spoke with a fellow by the name of Jerold King on live chat. Mr. King was able to quickly and thoroughly answer all of my questions, and even pointed me toward the Terms of Service so that I could verify what I had been told. Live chat support takes just a few moments and the wait time for telephone sales support is around 15 minutes.
Support
Customer support from Webhost4life can be found by phone, live chat or a trouble ticket system. I contacted support on several occasions, like when the server put out a memory error and numerous times when I questioned website speeds. Live chat support is fast, but most of the time Webhost4life refused to acknowledge that there was a problem. My trouble tickets were always answered, but it took several hours for that to happen. Phone support involves a 15-20 minutes wait time.
Setup
I bought a shared Unix hosting plan with Webhost4life. The sign-up process involved filling out an online form and waiting for information to be delivered by email. I had an invoice within seconds of paying and my welcome letter arrived 20 minutes later. Easy as can be!
Reliability
I remained with Webhost4life for one year. During that time, my hosting server was mostly reliable. I didn’t have a single hardware failure, though on weekends the server would often give off an out of memory error, leading me to believe that some hosting servers may be overloaded and therefore, not as dependable as they should be.
Billing
Webhost4life accepts all major credit cards and PayPal. I had no issues to speak of when paying for my account or with cancellation.

they have destroyed any search engine ranking I had worked so hard to gain, they fight me when I ask for help and blame me but I have not touched anything. Don't host with these people. They are amateurs and have no idea what they are doing.

I have been a customer of webhost4life for 6 months now. Initially it went very well in their trial period of 30 days. But from the second month itself i started to face the problems with their hosting. Occasionally my website used to remain down. Sometimes it worked, sometime don't. My site has very basic aspx pages and it don't make use of any database interactions or any third party controls. It is just basic aspx pages and even then it won't work. I continued with them because I had already paid them for the full year. But I realized that for a small benefit I have made a big mistake. But I continued hoping for the best as my business was not that much dependent on it. But recently my site stopped working at all. I logged a complaint with them and I was told it will be resolved within a couple of hours. But it has been 5 days since and i am still waiting to get my issues resolved. I have contacted their support staff 3 to 4 times everyday and every time they give false commitment that it will be resolved in the next couple of days. Eventually, I have ended up with losing 3 probable clients for my business and you know what that means. So, I am writing this to save someone out there to keep away from these guys and use some another hosting company. Hope my effort to write all this up will help someone out there. regards, H Singh

I've been with webhost4life for around 6 years now, overall I'm very satisfied.

I'm hosting there over 20 sites in one plan. They don't allow multi-domains for free (it's $15 a year per domain), but I did a work around by redirecting traffic to domains using a default.asp page on the root, and ot works perfectly.

The good thing about webhost4life is whenever I'm angry with them and I ask about something they give it to you, even if it's not included in your plan. For example when I asked for more DBs they gave me 5 FREE SQL Servers DBs!

Bottom line: Great value for money, and technical support team is strong and responsive.

I used to love these guys and now I want to poke my eye out every time i have to event see their name. What used to be great service (quick response, problem solving) has turned into completely unreliable and unresponsive service. I have emailed the CEO many many times with ZERO response! At least once a day my site goes down. Ridiculous. Look elsewhere.
