Review:
Our company has been using Sherweb's hosted Exchange 2007 for a few years and had been really pleased with them until about a month ago.
As we all know, email communication is the lifeblood of business, especially when it comes to supporting clients and entertaining prospective ones. Our emails started getting nabbed by their Spam Filter, some of which (not all) were visible in the Admin Interface of our account. Performing a search on a user's account revealed a handful or so of blocked messages, with the option to release or re-send them. The re-send of the messages failed and yet they remained in the clutches of the spam filter, mocking me. Contacting their Customer "Service" was like yelling into hollow and waiting to hear an echo. I finally got a "technician" in a chat session and explained my woes, thinking he was going to save the day. He attempted to re-send the messages in the exact same manner as I did which was frickin' useless! That's like telling the Doctor you've got a bloody stool and he sticks his finger in your butt anyway, juuust to be sure. It's painful and frustrating. Anyhow, so "Nick Burns" decides to try a few other methods of releasing my company's messages, but to no avail. He does tell me that he is escalating my case right away which was warmly received by me. I had arrived. It reminded me of being upgraded to First Class on a plane where Coach was all filled up. Alas, to my chagrin I found that there was no such thing as First Class on this "ValueJet." Two or three days later I received an email that had the feel of someone who was busy doing 10 other things and typing with one hand. He asked me for details about the messages, which I had since our customers had to re-send them to our personal accounts. FINALLY, we were going to be SAVED from this digital nightmare for I have provided PROOF that I was not crazy...NOT!!! There was silence for another half day so I created another ticket and included my existing ticket number, along with information regarding other users whose emails were entangled in the gripping snares of the InterWeb. I got another email from "Phillipe" once again asking me for information regarding the emails, which I had already sent him. This is when I knew the relationship was coming to an end like a teenage romance. I tried to tell myself this couldn't be happening and that they "would never do this to me" but my fears were realized when he asked me for message headers from emails that I had no account of. WTF?!? You want me to send you header information from an email that I never received?!?!? SACREBLEU!! I finally gave him a piece of my mind and let him know that if he didn't get his act together my company would find someone else who would take care of our needs.
Surely they will come around now. Right?
The saga continues..
