It took about 15 minutes of waiting to reach a live chat operator. Once connected, the live chat salesperson seemed to know little about EasyCGI, often disappearing for up to 20 minutes at a time, but always returning with the answer to my question. I found live chat to be disappointing, but not a deal breaker.

I paid for my web hosting plan and almost immediately received a welcome letter from EasyCGI. The welcome letter contained a username and password to access my account and all the details necessary to begin working on my new domain.

I paid for my web hosting plan by the year with a debit card and was properly charged. I was never billed for services I had not ordered. One year into my hosting plan, I paid the renewal fee for an SSL certificate and was charged, but the SSL was never renewed. It took three weeks to sort out this issue and I was never credited in any way for the error.
